600 SERIES AIR CONDITIONING FOR DLX CAB:
Air conditioning is available for Avant 635 after week 10.
Please note that because of the relatively high power demand from the air conditioning auxiliary hydraulics flow will be limited to 60 l/min in Avant 635 when it is equipped with air conditioning.
Both versions of air conditioning mounting is possible with
Avant 635 (cooling cell on the roof or cooling cell on the back window).
Because of the high power demand of the air conditioning we will not offer it at all with Avant 630
model. Air conditioning is available only for DLX cab models.
MULTI CONNECTOR NOW AS STANDARD EQUIPMENT:
The multi connector system becomes a standard equipment on all Avant 300, 400, 500, 600 and 700 series machines and their attachments. This system has been an option to Avant loaders for three years and because of the positive feedback it will be taken as standard equipment starting from January 2012. The multi connector system makes driving Avant an even more enjoyable experience as changing attachments is easier and cleaner.

Avant CH 150 Wood chipper
with
feeding unit
Avant CH 150 is a powerfull wood chipper with a
feeding unit which draws even the most stubbern tree
branches to the chipper. The unit is equipped with
two feed rolls that are governed with a rpm guard on
the chipping drum. The chipping drum will not seize,
because when the chipping drum rpm is too low the
feed rolls will stop and allow the chipping drum to
gain rpm again.

The Avant log splitter is renewed with some all new
features:
• Operating the log splitter is now done with twohand
operation. This eliminates the need for the
protective cage as it was on the older model.
• Two speed operation as standard.
• Adjustable splitting length

• Because of the more compact construction and

Timber trailer with a loader unit
Avant’s timber trailer with a loader unit is an easy
to use and effective way to transport logs from the
forest to roadside or yard. The trailer is coupled to
Avant’s normal trailer coupling and the loader unit
is connected to rear auxiliary hydraulics. Simple
connecting means the system is easy to connect and
disconnect from Avant.
The timber trailer can be equipped with hydraulic
4wd which is operated with hydraulic traction roller
feed. This improves off-road capabilities drastically,
which is often important when driving in forest. The
feed and it’s direction is controlled with an electric
toggle switch on Avant’s dashboard.
The timber loader can be equipped with a remote
controlled winch, which reduces the need to move
the loader/trailer unit in the forest. Thanks to the
remote controll unit it is also easy to use with only
one operator.

Levelling bucket
Avant levelling buckets are built with heavy duty
construction in mind. The levelling buckets have a
sharp back edge, which makes levelling easy when
driving backwards. Other features include a longer
front lip, that enable driver to see the lip of the bucket
perfectly and also partially makes levelling easier.

Backhoe 260
Backhoe 260 is a completely new backhoe model
from Avant and it replaces the old backhoe of
220/250 series. The new model has many features
that are improved against the old model. The changes
are explained in more detail below.
Boom slewing is now executed with two separate
cylinders as opposed to a single cylinder and chain
drive in the old model. The new system has less free
play when slewing the boom and has less need for
servicing. The slewing angle is 170 degrees.
Support legs are hydraulically adjustable. The driver
can easily adjust the support legs directly from the
control valve of the backhoe. This way the best
possible support can be easily set up and found every
time.
Auxiliary hydraulics as standard. The standard feature
hydaulics can be used to operate hydraulic quick
release, slewing bucket or even a rototilt.
A slewing adapter will be available. This adapter
makes it possible to attach all available buckets
into the adapter making the slewing function more
versatile.
Bucket quick release (manual model) as standard. For
fast and easy bucket changes.
Ease of operation and especially mounting is further
developped. Movement speeds are optimized for
Avant 600 and 700 series machines making digging
easier. Mounting the backhoe is now a lot easier with
tiltable valve bank and new locking mechanism on the
boom.

Snow blade
Avant snow blade is designed for fast snow clearing
in large areas. The snow blade is especially good in
clearing road areas from snow, because the snow is
thrown further away in a single pass.
The form of the snow blade is designed so that snow
picks up against the back wall of the snow blade
creating a twirl on the snow. When the snow is in
motion it moves easier to the side of the snow blade
creating less force that moves the machine sideways
and the snow is also thrown further away. The plastic
middle part makes the blade light and allows snow to
glide easier to the side of the blade also in part making
it fly further away.
Main advantages:
• Fast way to clear snow from large areas and roads
• Throws snow further away in a single pass than a
regular dozer blade
• Creates less sideways force, so the front of the
loader will not move so easily to the side.

Flipper bucket
The flipper bucket is designed for clearing snow
in large areas or in areas where snow must be
moved long distances. Because of the indipendently
controllable flippers the bucket is exteremely versatile
in snow clearing and fits into smaller areas as well
without problems.
With the flipper bucket you can push a very large
quantity of snow in one push. Because the wings fold
out from the sides slightly forward it enables you to
push 2-3 times the capacity of the bucket in between
the wings. Both wings can be operated indipendently
making the bucket easy to control in small or tight
areas.

Pallet forks with hydraulic side shift
Hydraulic side shift enable driver to drive the forks
further apart or closer to each other straight from
the drivers seat.
The system makes it also possible to
drive the forks to the left or right making it possible to
shift a load on the forks closer to a wall for example.
All operations can be operated from the drivers seat.
Pallet forks with side shift come as standard with a
foldable support stand on the rear of the pallet forks
which makes it possible to lean high loads against
the support and also protect the driver from falling
objects.

Attachment control switch pack A34700
The attachment control switch pack is available for
deliveries at the end of August 2010.
All attachment that require electric controll will be
transformed so, that they can be used with A34700
during August 2010. This means that there will
be a plug in the middle of the wire harness of the
attachment. This plug can be used with A34700 or
with the standard operating switch that follows with
the attachment (the same control switch as it has
been untill now).
The A34700 Attahcment controll switch pack is
not a mandatory option for the attachment that is
electrically controlled, but it is strongly recommended
because of the added comfort. All attachments
will remain usable even if this option is not on the
machine. This however may change later, if there are
more complicated operations in the attachments.
Hydraulic quick attachment plate
The hydraulic quick attachment plate has currently a
new design. The new design is mainly improved by an
electrically operated hydraulic unit, which is operated
from the cockpit.
This system allows the driver to use the quick
attachment plate completely independently from the
attachment hydraulics. The electrohydraulic unit also
enables the use of the quick attach plate with only the
power switched on.
The redesigned system will be available at the
beginning of November 2010, when it will replace the
old system with the manual valve.

Avant Screening bucket
The new Avant screening bucket separates different
sized soil materials effectively with the help of it’s
unique construction. The purpose of the screening
bucket is indeed to separate the larger and smaller
particles from the soil and not crush the larger
material into smaller particles.
Top soil making for landscaping, nurseries and
wholesale is the principal use for Avant screening
buckets. Advantage of screening bucket is, that no
sharp particles are crushed into the material, making
it safe to use in garden and park areas.
Avant screening buckets also make it possible to
alter the top soil composition for different uses.
You are able to mix peat, sand, silt, clay or moraine
into the top soil to make the soil composition right
for different purposes (i.e. a green house has very
different requirements for top soil than a sport field).
Back fillings (padding) of pipes, cables and tanks are
also an ideal place to use a screening bucket. You are
able to screen the fine material on top of the pipes
or tanks to protect them and there is no need to
transport finer material to the work sites separately.
In the demolition and construction site you can
separate different size of construction and demolition
waste making it easier to recycle them.
Most important arguments:
• Multifunctionality. Landscapers are able to
make top soil directly on the work site with the
same machine they are using to do the rest of the
landscaping.
• Cost and time saving. No need to transport ready
screened top soil onto the work site.
• Heavy duty construction. Designed for
professional screening work.
